Matchmaking Events & Channels
Just before the launch of the First Open Call, we hosted the 10th October our first ADT4Blue online Matchmaking event. Participants were higher education students, alumni, researchers, and early-stage entrepreneurs from various countries.
The primary goal of the event was to foster the creation of multidisciplinary teams to apply for the ADT4Blue Open Call 1, running from October 18th to December 18th, 2024. Applicants are requested to present solutions to specific challenges faced by several Blue Economy sectors.
Participants had the opportunity to introduce themselves, share their ideas to address the identified challenges, and listen to presentations from fellow participants. They also received additional information about ADT4Blue Open Call, including updates on upcoming project events.
The participants are now encouraged to extend their interactions through a dedicated communication channel on Discord and moderated by the ADT4Blue team. The server has been set-up to help potential applicants of Open Call 1providing with a safe place to be introduced to the ADT4Blue community, search for potential teammates and share ideas with like-minded entrepreneurs. A second Matchmaking event will take place online the 27th November, and a Q&A session is scheduled for November 7th.
