Consortium Meeting in Bordeaux

The 12th and 13th March the representatives of the 13 partners of ADT4Blue met in Bordeaux (FR), hosted by the University of Bordeaux, CNRS and ACCENT SUD, for two days of discussion and preparation for the first Open Call that will be launched in 2024.

ADT4Blue aims at accelerating digitization and sustainability in the Blue Economy, focusing on the adoption of Advanced Digital Technologies, like AI, Blockchain and IoT, among students, alumni or early-stage entrepreneurs —including seniors— for the development, scale up and creation of new businesses addressing challenges identified by the BlueEconomy actors in each region covered by the project, by providing adequate training, mentoring and support in the identification of the necessary funds to bootstrap their ventures. Training programs will address different profiles including in business, solutions’ architects, and developers, also focusing on data-value chains, leveraging European Dataspaces initiatives.

ADT4Blue will encourage collaboration between inter-regional actors, facilitating and enabling them to adopt best practices and digitize blue economy activities. It will favor inter-regional and across age groups business and, indirectly, impact on our territories’ attractiveness and innovation levels. Partners will also connect with existing ecosystems’ actors and initiatives, like Digital Innovation Hubs, Testbeds, Investors Forum, Incubators and Accelerators.
