
Universidad de Deusto
Founded in 1886 by the Society of Jesus, the Universidad de Deusto is located across two campuses — Bilbao and San Sebastian — and two additional sites — Madrid and Vitoria-Gasteiz — in Spain. With 11,000 students, Deusto is part of the International Association of Jesuit Universities (IAJU), a network of over two hundred Jesuit higher education institutions.
The University is divided into seven faculties: Economic and Business Sciences, Health Sciences, Social and Human Sciences, Law, Education and Sports, Engineering, and Theology. It offers 31 degrees, 15 double degrees, 46 master’s programs, and 8 doctoral programs, all taught through a widely recognized teaching-learning model.
Universidad de Deusto ranks in the top 4%–5% of universities globally (Times Higher Education World University Ranking). The THE Impact Ranking has placed Deusto 43rd globally and 1st in Spain for Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11), and among the top 101–200 universities for Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8).
Deusto Business School has received accreditation from the Association of MBAs, placing it among the top 2% of business schools worldwide.
